Our core directions

Wetlands

Wetlands are the cradle of life. They support all ecosystems and human societies in Central Asia, yet they are the most threatened ecosystems in the region. Protecting them, is investing in the future of biodiversity and human communities.

Birds of Prey

Nature Foundation works on the protection the five species of vultures in the Kyrgyz Republic, and collaborates with several partners to better protect Falcons and develop a national plan for the conservation of birds of prey.

Citizen Science

Nature Foundation is eBird’s partner in the Kyrgyz Republic. By promoting citizen science apps such as eBird & INaturalist, Nature Foundation wishes to better connect people to their environment and better understand poorly understood ecosystems.

Flyway conservation

Along our partners at the Youth Group for Protection of Environment (YGPE) in Tajikistan, Nature Foundation is a founding member and co-host of the Central Asian Conservation Network. To learn more visit: cafnetwork.org
